Depart Stigma - Independent Project

In University I had been given the opportunity, to come up with a project of my own. I decided to turn to something I believe in, which is supporting people who wish to peruse creative studies or a creative career and tackling the stigma towards creatives and the arts. I spoke to many people on the university art campus both students and staff have experiences of being told that their subject choice or career choice wasn’t realistic or valid. Many also felt affected by funding cuts towards creative education. I came up with a concept for an organisation which would help young people pursue creative careers/education validating their passion for the arts and overcoming stigma. I created a brand identity and a design campaign. Below are my results.
